2-BARJAZZ

Prologue

Flunky Yaaaah is in Capetown
And Ratface in Johannesburg
But at night they live next door to each other
Ratface puts Yaaaah down when there are Pygmies
And Yaaaah puts Ratface down when there are dead children
And the rhinoceros puts everyone down

Tonight the rhinoceros is bugged
Yaaaah and Ratface are in Ballpoint Sam's bar
Each are sipping rotgut not saying a word
And outside the rhinoceros is really bugged

(a) Zen

                                                                       The black Zens   ass-hard
on the backs of unreal oxen
                                                                       riding nowhere

BALLPOINT SAM:       Other disturbances never bug me
Mrs. Frankenstein is my old lady
I live next door to Mr. Kierkegaard
And Grandma Eloise has a son I hate
And in my garden there's a big flower
And everytime I stand beside it
                                       Something in me inversely dies
And there's a Prince who someday will succeed me
                                       Cycle    everything is cycle

RATFACE:      Flower   you say
Ha no more rain do I remember to have thundered
                        And thundering arose again
Refreshed by silent wonder    a flower

YAAAAH:       Spread that corn elsewhere    man

BALLPOINT SAM:     What am I doing in Capetown
I look for long color snakes
I want to breathe rotgut into their rainbow lungs
I want to wrestle with them
                                     Break their necks over Buddha
                                     Stain Buddha with snake-milk
I want to walk down the street with snake on my face
                                     I want to frighten children
I want them to drive me from Capetown
I want to coil in the Himalaya
